June 18, 2007--Day Two of the Big Fix saw the first true mountain climbing of the ride, as we rode up Hwy 50 over Echo Summit on our way to Lake Tahoe and the over Kingsbury Grade.  Today's biggest surprise was the distance to Fallon, Nevada, our stopping point for the night. We left the Carson City rest stop with the assurance that it was "about 25 miles" to Fallon.  A few miles later, we saw the first directional sign, which informed us that we had 56 miles to go (and all of that in the heat with some wicked winds). We were all very glad to finally get to Fallon.
