Paeng Nepomuceno is the proud owner of a very early Richard Sachs frameset--one of the oldest still in existence.  His bike bears serial number 18, and was originally built in 1975.  It was recently restored with period-correct decals by Joe Bell.  Very nice results.

A few items to notice on this bike:

  • Unusual NR triple crankset
  • Richard Sachs still used tubing decals in 1975.  He stopped soon after, and hasn't put a tubing decal on a frame since
  • Period-correct Cinelli Unicanitor saddle
  • Looong Campagnolo dropouts

This classic Sachs is one of several great retro bikes in Paeng's collection.  Click here to see his very rare fixed-gear Mario Confente.
