Were there different versions of the C-Record rear derailleur, if so did some versions not have the front of the jockey pulley enclosed?

That explains it.....the C-grouppo that it's with is on a 89' DeRosa.

Another question about the C-Record series of rear derailleurs. Were all the rear derailleurs in this series capable of index shifting?
