Just a simple one, what is the range of brake shoe adjustment on deltas? i.e can they repace dual pivots?

Steven,
Deltas offered a wide range of adjustment for the brake shoes, and were one of the first brakesets to be fitted with the now industry standard type of orbital spacers.
They also made different thickness orbital spacers as well to accomodate different width rims, since the angle of brake shoe contact in relation to the caliper arm was vital to achieve maximum stopping power.
For larger profile tires the shoes could have been moved up or down slightly in the arms that had slotted holes to give some extra clearance, but the fixing bolt to the frame did the majority of this, since the calipers body had a large slot to allow nearly an inch of travel to move the whole caliper up or down.
Replace dual pivots??? hardly, but with some brake shoe upgrades and ti parts to lighten them, they do a decent job, plus what a conversation piece they are.

Well a lot depends on the version you have and of course the overall condition of the brake set calipers and if levers are included as well. A while ago on the internet i saw an article from a guy who was willing to pay up to a hundered US dollars for the triangular cover that fits over the main body,it seems he lost his. Its all a case of supply and demand and of course items placed on e-bay may get higher prices if many people are bidding on the same item.
Also some people just wont sell certain items no matter what the price is they are offered, call it sentimental Campy value.

What are some good alternatives for replacement brake shoes on Deltas, when you just can't find or afford the NOS Blocks?

Derosa outfitted one of their anniversary bikes with Delta's that had 'Ugo Derosa' engraved on the Delta faceplates.

Any idea how many sets of these were made??

Well my guess was that as De Rosa are the same age as Colnago, the only anniversary falling in to the production lifetime of the Deltas would make it a 35th Anniversary De Rosa bike......typing that in to Google coughed up this:

As well as some details that you'll be able to add to your ad

This is the the 35th Anniversary model made so far by the house of De Rosa. in 1988. Original pearly silver paint and blue pinstriping. The entire driveline is Campy with Ugo De Rosas signature on the stem, brakesets, and frame. 3TTT bars, Turbo seat, new Continental tires, and Campagnolo Lamda aero rims. Made from Columbus SLX Tubing....... There was reportedly either 250 or 300 made in total of which very few ade their way stateside

Hope this helps :D

Thanks, appreciate it!! I have them on ebay at the moment...:

I have a set of Croce Deltas. Can I change the rear mount post's bolt length? It seems that only the front brake wants to fit the rear brake mount on my frame.
