Does anyone know if you can still buy these? it seems that only 9 or 10 speed are available new?

Try contacting Fietsenfrans (he offers vintage bike stuff on Ebay regularly). He told me a while ago that he comes across NOS 8-sp. Ergos regularly, but leaves them on the shelves because no one is buying them. He should be able to get you a pair for a reasonable price. His email address is [franspaulussen@home.nl].

Are you looking for the old body style or do you just need 8 speed erogolevers?

If you need 8 speed levers, you can buy a current set of 9 speed and convert them to 8 speed by buying Campagnolo part # EC-RE060

9 speed levers are the easiest to convert. You only have to buy and swap out the index gear. If you convert a 10 to an 8, it requires complete dissasembly of the lever because you have to replace the front ratchet ring as well
