Repairing crashed Record Ergo levers

So you trashed your 10speed Record carbon Ergo levers in a crash and you now have found out that the spare part price of one brake lever is around 100 dollars per side, or worse yet the lever body has been broken by the little side area the brake lever pivots on.
Well no problem, you can usually fix it for a bit less funds if you do this little trick, plus it can also save you some money, as well as give you a few spares in the process.
Purchase the TT Record brake lever set and strip them out, these will give you the carbon brake levers, the composite lever bodies and the brake hoods, as well as the complete cable set, all for less than the price of two Record carbon lever spares. Now all you have to do is transfer the parts you need to refurbish your damaged Record Ergos.
The only drawback here is that there are no shifter bits and pieces, so if you need some replacement items in this category you will have to buy those separately.
