November 5, 2004--Reader Andreas
König came up with this solution to his need for left-hand-only
controls. It involves using Triathlon-style shifting, and an
unusual combination of hydraulic (front) and mechanical (rear)
brakes. The brake splitter is set up to work both brakes from the
standard lever, or just the rear brake from the auxiliary lever near the
stem. Note the cable pull adapter at the rear brake.
